Eighteen below this morning. That is quite the opposite of last weekends temps. It will warm to eleven today and the sun is shining. We take what we can get.

The Drake Magazine Fly Fishing Film Tour is coming back to Lake Placid for the second year in a row. The showing will be held at The Lake Placid Center for the Arts on March 13th. It is a great event featuring some of the most exciting fly fishing films being released in 2010 and this year will feature content made for the tour. It is a great way to scratch the cabin fever itch and even better all proceeds will benefit the Tri Lakes Chapter of Trout Unlimited. More details of this exciting news will follow as they become available but in the meantime mark your calendars and plan on being here in March!

A little hard water action for the fly guys. You have to get out and fish somehow and when it's -4 the shack is the way to go! The smelt action was good and the smelt fry was even better!
